Dianna Hanken is a writer, lifelong traveler, and TEDx speaker who shares honest stories of travel, presence, and personal becoming — written especially for women in midlife navigating change, curiosity, and what comes next.
After years of building what looked like a “good life” from the outside, Dianna sensed something essential was missing. She felt disconnected from her joy, her intuition, and the deeper truth of who she was. That quiet knowing became a turning point — one that led her onto the road, into reflection and healing, and ultimately back home to herself.
Travel has been part of Dianna’s life for as long as she can remember — raised on standby flights thanks to her dad, a Delta pilot, and shaped by a lifetime of movement and curiosity. In recent years, she spent extended time slow-traveling through the Americas and Europe, moving without rigid plans and allowing the journey to shape her. What began as a personal leap became something more when she started sharing behind-the-scenes reflections on her blog, Travels with Spirit. Readers weren’t just drawn to the destinations — they resonated with the deeper journey unfolding beneath them.
At the heart of Dianna’s work is a simple, lived philosophy: Listen • Trust • Act — the same framework she speaks about in her TEDx talk and is now expanding into her next book. This rhythm shapes how she travels, how she writes, and how she pays attention to what life is asking in each season.
Dianna holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University and is the author of The Destiny Path: From Being Alone to Coming Home. Her work centers on visibility, truth, and the courage to live a life that feels like your own.
